From the Room: All In Keep Sticks on Balls

D. Maxham works on strategy with team counsellor
What an ugly match.  Officially, there were three red cards given out, along with one yellow card.  However, by the sound of it, Daniel Maxham believed there could have been even at least one more "yellow" card given out.  As the Flying Dutchmen went over adjustments they should make for their next match against All-In, team captain David Wheaton made a suggestion that was not only questionable, but questioned by Daniel Maxham.
A demoralized Wheaton said "We shouldn't even show up for these p***ks next time."
Maxham, enraged, called out Wheaton in front of the dressing room "What!?  That's the most p***y thing I've ever heard!"
"Ha! Ha!  I was just jokin'.  No, that would be stupid.  Good answer Danny!  Did anyone agree with me?  If anyone agreed with what I just said, they're off the team." rambled Wheaton while trailing off. He then ran out of the gym/dressing room, mumbling something about hockey tape.

Maxham and Wheaton have a somewhat rocky past.  They've engaged in more than one arm-wrestling match, and since Wheaton's retired from that pasttime, there have been reports of spontaneous bouts of regular wrestling, a.k.a. roughhousing in random campsites in Ontario, which sometimes end in tears, when the tension becomes too much.  When Wheaton was questioned  by media later about this post-game confrontation, he was not brief.
"I'm the captain.  He's a little tw*t!  He's just upset that he has no leadership skills.  Or tact!  He was talking about all you guys too, he was saying "Oh, I f***ing hate the media.  They're all a bunch of...f***ing pansies!"  When asked about rumours that D.Maxham had retired him from the sport of arm wrestling, he sort of tried to laugh  "Ha!  Retire me?!  I f****in'...I f****in' stopped 'cuz it's a stupid sport and...uh...I'd done all I'd set out to accomplish in that f***ing realm.  Ha!  Retired, that's funny.  Tw*t."

Flying Dutchmen Brought Back to Earth

The Dutchmen seemed to have all the momentum going into the second half of the game, having taken a 3-2 lead on goals by Vong, Wheaton, and someone else.  However, after a first half that saw multiple skirmishes, the Dutchmen seemed to lose the poise that led to their 12-4 trouncing of STM last week. The All-In scored 4 unanswered goals in the second half, and that's all I have to say about that.
