Pony-tail was his old self. Slashing and hitting with great zeal, he lost the game for his team, as he's done before, and probably will again.
DaveZ forgot to bring water.
He borrowed Paddy's. The bottle was defective, however, and DaveZ spilled water all over himself and the floor on the bench. John said, "You're all wet."John and Dave had just come from the bar, where they were presented with the team championship shirts, for last season. The shirts varied in colour and size, but all shared the same sponsor logos.
Alain won the stein as game MVP. He played a great game. Dave was really upset that he had to give it to him. DaveZ had brought it from the bar.
It was Piet's first game back after a long layoff. He'd injured his ribs playing ice hockey. He showed no signs of rust, however, and definitely scored at least one point and created tons of chances, getting lots of sick shots on goal.
Matt played a great game, and if it hadn't been for him holding us in there in the first half, the game might have gone the other way.
